For a country that really hated monarchies we sure seem to be hypocrites. Really, guys? Clinton again? She’s going to press the same “universal” health care (HillaryCare) issue she toyed with over 14 years ago!

Can you believe we have 10 more months of this? And with the way these delegates are so closely shaping up, we’ll probably have a Bush/Gore repeat. This time, though, the chads will be bugs… in the software.

I’m a cynical guy, at times. I’ve gone so far as to say voting sucks. I’ve never really felt passionate about an election (I can only really remember the last three) but now the time has come. I really don’t want a lot of what the republicans have to offer and I really don’t want Hillary (back) in office.

It almost frustrates me to see how many people get involved, though. If only a fraction of the people, their passion, energy, and time spent was used to plant trees or feed homeless. If the millions of dollars donated to the campaigns were rather donated, invested, spent more wisely than buying airtime and private jet time.

Sigh, politics.
